DENDERACCHI

Denderacchi is an estate in the area of Val D'Ambra, a part of Tuscany recently discovered by tourist who wish to stay in a more natural and uncontaminated place.
Situated between the famous cities of Arezzo and Siena, here the hills of Chianti gently low down, to let the sight open wider, to arrive until the Appenini mountains, on the other side of the Arno river.
The nature is the protagonist of this part of Tuscany, and the hamlets and castles - that are always present on the territory - and the typical houses, quite a mixture between the houses of the Chianti area, more rustic with stones and irregular shapes, and the houses of the Sienese area, the more elegant red brick buildings.
Denderacchi is in the middle of the countryside, among small villages like Pieve a Presciano and Badia Agnano, both at 2 km where you find small grocery stores and the Pergine is at 4 Km distance and here you find more stores, a little supermarket and the pharmacy.
For a bigger shopping the village of Montevarchi is at 15Km with banks and other shops. Here is also the entrance of the Highway A1 (Milan-Rome).
Arezzo is at just 22Km, Siena is at 40Km and Florence at 55Km.
This year 2001 the estate of Denderacchi, composed by the main house of the farm, a big burn and a small shed, was completely restored.
On the ground floor of the main house characterised by a ceiling with original bricks cross-vaults, there is a good restaurant that offers its services to the guests of Denderacchi, the kitchen and the reception with a nice fireplace.
On the first floor and on the big burn, there are 5 different apartments to accommodate the guests, all furnished with SAT TV, telephone.
The apartments can be used as self catering, being all furnished with a small kitchen corner, or as Suites, offering the restaurant breakfast service and the possibility to take half board service, at the extra cost of Euro 25 per person (drinks are not included).
On the outside, a beautiful swimming pool, furnished with all the comforts, is at disposal.
In the fields and woods nearby it is possible to go walking.
In the small shed, there is a big wide hall that can be used to organise different courses or as conference room, if needed by guests.
