If you wish to live in the Tuscany illustrated by the postcards, with the gentle hills dotted with just few cypress trees, come to visit the "Val di Chiana".
Situated south of Siena, at the south end of Tuscany, in a still rural area, the "Val di Chiana" offers to its guests the possibility to live in an uncontaminated landscape, and to visit some historical towns, like Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano.
During the summer period, looking for some refreshment, it is easy to reach the park of the "Amiata", a mountain once known for its amiant mines, and now a tourist area dotted by nice villages; or driving the opposite way, reaching the Umbria region, you will find the Trasimeno lake, where are beaches and other leisure.
In the autumn times, you can visit the different thermal towns, like San Casciano Bagni or Bagno Vignoni, with their swimming pools of hot sulfureous water, for a pleasant and healthy swim.

Not far from Chianciano Terme and few kilometers from San Casciano dei Bagni, in particular interesting naturalistic area, is situated this rural house, restored with a lot of taste, respecting the traditional materials, and offering to its guests a stay in the real "typical tuscan place".
The recent restoration has maintained in the rooms the big spaces typical of the rural Tuscan architecture, supplying the house with all the comforts nowadays needed.
The two hectares garden with olive trees offer a relaxing stay.
A secondary road leading to San Casciano dei Bagni passes by, mostly covered by some trees.

Sarteano with its various shops is at 3Km distance; the highway A1 is at 10 km, Chiusi at 15 km, San Casciano dei Bagni is at 14 km and Chianciano Terme is at 10 km.
Siena is rechable in 80 km, Florence and Rome are at 120 km.
Places to visit are also Montepulciano, Montalcino and Pienza at about half an hour driving.

Ground Floor: big living room with fireplace ( 4 flames, fridge, oven, dishwasher), WC with washing machine, dining room, big storage room with private boiler.
First Floor: covered panoramic loggia, living room with fireplace, 2 double rooms with king size bed, both with private bathroom ( one with bath tub one with shower), bedroom with french bed (1,40 m large).
Eventual extra bed on request in the living-room to be paid apart.
Small independent apartment with private entrance called La Porcilaia of 40 sqm for 2 pers At Ground Floor: studio with a kitchen corner ( 2 flames and fridge ) and double room, bathroom with shower.
Equipped terrace at disposal.
No swimming pool.
