This ancient Villa dated back to the XVII century is situated in the heart of Chianti, among the evergreen olive trees and cypress -trees, surrounded by hills endlessly extending towards the horizon, to offer to its guests an enchanting view.

From the Chiantigiana road, the ancient road leading from Florence to Siena, you have to enter a smaller and curvy road, and, through green woods, you reach an even smaller white road, until you arrive at the Villa, standing up on top of the hill, with its beautiful panorama.

The nearest villages, at about 6Km distance, are San Polo in Chianti and Strada in Chianti, with several shops, banks and typical family-run restaurants. Greve in Chianti, famous town of the Chianti Wine, is at just 12Km distance. Florence is in 20Km.

All around the house a terraced garden, equipped with elegant furniture and with a table-tennis and a barbecue, offers the possibility of a relaxing holiday. The swimming pool (12X5 m), at 100 meters from the Villa, is very panoramic and has a beautiful view over the Sezzate Castle, and is perfectly inserted in the nature of the place. A nice inner court-yard with a characteristic well is the perfect ending of this villa , which underlines its importance not only by its classical structure, but also with its antique and prestigious furniture

Villa Montescalari is situated on a slope of the ground, and is on two levels. At ground-floor: big living-room with fireplace, studio/library with fireplace, double bedroom with baldachin-bed, bath with tub, dining-room and exit through a stair-case to the inner court-yard.

At first floor : double bedroom with an extra bed, bath with tub, 2 twin-bedded rooms, bath with small tub, dining-room, fully equipped kitchen (washing-machine and dish-washer), outside terrace where it is possible to eat outside with a marvellous view.
