of Florence, surrounded by the Appennini Mountains with their Pass leading
to Bologna, is the area of the Mugello and the Sieve Valley, characterised
by the untouched nature of the hills, cultivated with vineyards and
olive groves, that climbing towards the mountains, become fresh woods
of chestnut trees and oaks, that offer their freshness during the hot
days of Italian summer.
In the heart of Mugello, where the river Sieve cross with the San Gondenzo,
one of the many streams that comes down from the mountains, lies the
village of Dicomano, and at 2Km distance, going up a white road of about
1Km, is situated the property of Poggio alle Nuvole, where the owner
has recently restored two nice villas, giving them at disposal of those
who wish to spend a holiday in the quietness of these places, discovering
a different rhythm of life.
The property is situated at 2Km from the village of Dicomano, where
are many useful shops, and an easy link to the town of Florence by train;
Borgo San Lorenzo is at 15Km, the exit of the Highway A1, Barberino
di Mugello, is at 30Km and Florence is at 40Km.
The Villa Poggio alle Nuvole is an independent Villa, with its own garden
of about 300 sqm.
It is on two floors:
ground floor: Entrance, living room with fireplace, veranda with dining
room and exit onto the garden, small kitchen ( 4 electric fires, oven,
fridge, washing machine) living room with double sofa bed and SAT TV,
double room with exit onto the garden, twin room with bunk beds, bathroom
with shower.
First floor Double room with en suite bathroom with shower.
In the well cared and furnished garden, is a swimming pool above ground,
with an 8 shape of about 8X4,5 meters, and 1,2 meters deep, and a barbecue
at disposal.
The back of the house is equipped with table and chairs, to dine outside.
