SANT'APPIANO

This small but ancient farming estate with production of Chianti wine, olive oil and grappa, next to the Romasque church S. Appiano of the 9th Century, has in his property 8 apartments at disposal of its guests.
The farm is hidden in the tuscan countryside, among the small roads that lead to know corner of the Chianti area still remained as in the old times: ruins of rural houses that you can meet on the road, ancient Churches like Sant'Appiano, medieval hamlets, like Linari, at 1Km from the farm.
The apartments were restored during the years: two in the main farm, two in a house inside the hamlet, and four in a grange near to the swimming pool.
The simple style of the apartments, equipped with simple tuscan furniture, will let you spend a holiday near to the rural life of the country.
Barberino V. Elsa with shops and banks is at 4 km, Poggibonsi, a bigger village with Supermarkets, at 6 km, S. Gimignano at 15 km, Florence at 35 km and Siena at 40 km.
Shared swimming-pool (6 x 12 m, max. depth 1,40 m) among the olive trees at 500 m from the property.

Appiano 1 (60 sqm) - for 2-4 pers.
Ground-floor: large living-room with fireplace and double divan-bed ( king size) and kitchen corner ( fridge - two flames) , double bedroom with king size bed , bath with shower. Private entrance and small and equipped garden.

Appiano 2 (35 sqm) - for 2-3 pers.
Ground-floor: kitchen ( fridge, two flames) with single divan-bed, double bedroom with king size bed, bath with shower. Private entrance and small and equipped garden.

Appiano 3 (65 sqm) - for 4 pers.
In a dependance in the hamlet. Ground-floor: living-room with fireplace and kitchen corner ( fridge, two flames) , double bedroom with king size bed, twin-bedded room, bath with shower. Without heating. Outside equipped area

The barn situated near the main farm has been the last to be restored, dividing it into four apartments, with simple tuscan furniture, but with all comforts for a holiday among the nature. The house is on a slope, so all the apartments are on ground floor. Outside of each apartment there is a terrace with tables and chairs to sit and eat outside. From the barn, passing through a small gate and through a path in the fields, there is the swimming pool.

Appiano 5 and 6 (75 sqm) - for 4-5 pers.
Ground-floor: living-room with single sofa bed and kitchen corner ( fridge, two flames) , 1 double bedroom with king size bed, 1 twin bedroom, bath with shower.

Appiano 7 and 8 (50 sqm) - for 2-4 pers.
Ground-floor: living-room with double divan-bed (king size) and kitchen corner ( fridge, 2 flames), double bedroom with king size bed, bath with shower.
