This small but ancient farming estate with production of Chianti wine, olive oil and grappa, next to the Romasque church S. Appiano of the 9th Century, has in his property 8 apartments at disposal of its guests.
The farm is hidden in the tuscan countryside, among the small roads that lead to know corner of the Chianti area still remained as in the old times: ruins of rural houses that you can meet on the road, ancient Churches like Sant'Appiano, medieval hamlets, like Linari, at 1Km from the farm.
The apartments were restored during the years: two in the main farm, two in a house inside the hamlet, and four in a grange near to the swimming pool. The simple style of the apartments, equipped with simple tuscan furniture, will let you spend a holiday near to the rural life of the country.

The barn situated near the main farm has been the last to be restored, dividing it into four apartments, with simple tuscan furniture, but with all comforts for a holiday among the nature. The house is on a slope, so all the apartments are on ground floor. Outside of each apartment there is a terrace with tables and chairs to sit and eat outside. From the barn, passing through a small gate and through a path in the fields, there is the swimming pool.

If you wish to live in the Tuscany illustrated by the postcards, with the gentle hills dotted with just few cypress trees, come to visit the “Val di Chiana”. Situated south of Siena, at the south end of Tuscany, in a still rural area, the “Val di Chiana” offers to its guests the possibility to live in an uncontaminated landscape, and to visit some historical tuscan towns, like Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano. During the summer period, looking for some refreshment, it is easy to reach the park of the “Amiata”, a mountain once known for its amiant mines, and now a tourist area dotted by nice villages; or driving the opposite way, reaching the Umbria region, you will find the Trasimeno lake, where are beaches and other leisure. In the autumn times, you can visit the different thermal towns, like San Casciano Bagni or Bagno Vignoni, with their swimming pools of hot sulfureous water, for a pleasant and healthy swim.
Not far from Chianciano Terme and few kilometers from San Casciano dei Bagni, in particular interesting naturalistic area, is situated this rural house, restored with a lot of taste, respecting the traditional materials, and offering to its guests a stay in the real “typical tuscan place”. Denderacchi is an estate in the area of Val D'Ambra, a part of Tuscany recently discovered by tourist who wish to stay in a more natural and uncontaminated place. Situated between the famous cities of Arezzo and Siena, here the hills of Chianti gently low down, to let the sight open wider, to arrive until the Appenini mountains, on the other side of the Arno river. The nature is the protagonist of this part of Tuscany, and the hamlets and castles - that are always present on the territory - and the typical houses, quite a mixture between the houses of the Chianti area, more rustic with stones and irregular shapes, and the houses of the Sienese area, the more elegant red brick buildings.
Denderacchi is in the middle of the countryside, among small villages like Pieve a Presciano and Badia Agnano, both at 2 km. Pergine is at 4 Km distance and here you find small grocery stores. For a bigger shopping the village of Montevarchi is at 15Km with banks, pharmacy and restaurants. There is also the entrance of the Highway A1 (Milan-Rome). Arezzo is at just 22Km, Siena is at 40Km and Florence at 55Km.
This year 2001 the estate of Denderacchi, composed by the main house of the farm, a big burn and a small shed, was completely restored.
On the ground floor of the main house characterised by a ceiling with original bricks cross-vaults, there is a good restaurant that offers its services to the guests of Denderacchi, the kitchen and the reception with a nice fireplace.
On the first floor and on the big burn, there are 5 different apartments to accommodate the guests. A sixth small apartment for handicapped persons and a big one for 8 persons where restored in the big burn
On the outside, a beautiful swimming pool, furnished with all the comforts, is at disposal, together with a tennis court and the possibility to rent mountain bikes.
In the small shed, there is a big wide hall that can be used to organise different courses or as conference room, if needed by guests.
