VILLA GIANNOZZI
Villa Giannozzi is a typical Renaissance villa on the main square of Marcialla, a little village in the Chianti area (Colli Fiorentini), halfway between Florence and Siena. In the neighbourhood, there are the villages of Certaldo and Montespertoli with their historical centres.
A few metres From Villa Giannozzi, there are several excellent restaurants that offer a typical Tuscan cuisine. From the main square of Marcialla, each of the three streets that lead out of the village invites you to discover panoramic corners of Tuscany, reaching Certaldo southwards, Montespertoli and Volterra towards eastwards, and Tavarnelle and Barberino Val d’Elsa westwards.
Certaldo is at a distance of 6 km, Tavarnelle at 4 km, Montespertoli at 10 km, Florence at 35 km, and Siena at 45 km.
The villa used to be the residence of the “landlords” of the area and was therefore the main focus of attention in the village. The restoration of the villa left the spacious lounges at the ground floor, and transformed the lounges at the first floor into three spacious double rooms, each with a private bathroom, two of which with shower, and one with Jacuzzi-tub. Through a separate entrance, one reaches an additional, very spacious double room (approximately 40 m2). This room has a little lounge corner, and there is a private bathroom with shower.
The rooms are accurately furnished, in a simple style that respects the classical atmosphere of the villa.
The lounges at the first floor (a main lounge, a dining room and a living room that faces the garden) can be used for organising lunches, dinners, or ceremonies of various types.
A minimum stay of three nights is requested.
