If you wish to stay in the Tuscan landscape illustrated by postcards, with the gentle hills dotted with few cypress trees, you should come to visit the “Val d’Orcia”. Situated south of Siena, at the southern end of Tuscany, the rural area of “Val d’Orcia” offers to its guests the possibility to live in an untouched nature while being close to historical towns, such as Montalcino, Pienza, and Montepulciano. During the summer period, looking for some refreshment, one can reach the park of the “Amiata” with its nice villages. Driving the opposite way, one can easily reach the Umbria region and the Trasimeno Lake, where there are beaches and other leisure possibilities. In autumn, you can visit the different spa towns, such as San Casciano Bagni or Bagno Vignoni with their swimming pools of hot sulphurous water, for a pleasant and healthy swim.

Le Logge di Sarteano, a beautiful rural house, is situated close to Chianciano Terme and at a few kilometres distance from San Casciano dei Bagni. It offers to its guests a stay in a “typical Tuscan place”. The recent restoration has maintained the large spaces of the rooms that are typical for the rural architecture of Tuscany, and it has provided the house with all comforts.

The two hectares of garden with olive trees, and a small Jacuzzi pool, promise a very relaxing stay.

A secondary road leading to San Casciano dei Bagni passes by the house, but trees mostly cover it.

Sarteano with various shops is at 3 km distance. The A1 highway is at 10 km, Chiusi at 15 km, San Casciano dei Bagni at 14 km and Chianciano Terme is at 10 km. Siena is reachable in 80 km, Florence and Rome are at 120 km. Nearby places that are worth a visit are Montepulciano, Montalcino and Pienza at about half an hour driving.

Ground Floor: spacious living room with fireplace (4-ring hob, fridge, oven, dishwasher), WC with washing machine, dining room, big storage room with private boiler.

First Floor: panoramic loggia, living room with fireplace, 2 double rooms, each with private bathroom (one with bathtub and one with shower), bedroom with French bed (1,40 m large).

At the ground floor, there is also a small independent apartment with private entrance (called “La Porcilaia”) of 40 m2 for 2 persons: studio with a kitchen corner (2-ring hob and fridge), double room, bathroom with shower. Furnished terrace.

The house is equipped with SAT TV, stereo and CD player, phone, fax. The apartments are rented together so as to constitute a single villa.
