UGOLINO

This magnificent villa is situated on the Tuscan hills surrounding Florence, at a distance of only 10 km from the city. Oak trees, cypress trees, and olive groves surround the villa that used to be a barn. The splendid view extends to the wine yards of the hills of Impruneta. Villa Ugolino permits its guests to enjoy a stay in full privacy and tranquillity, immersed in nature.

The nearest village, Strada in Chianti, is at a distance of 4 km from the villa. In the village, there are several grocery stores, banks, and a pharmacy. The village of Impruneta is at a distance of 5 km, and Grassina is at 6 km. Small shops and excellent restaurants are all over the area as well as in the villages of the “Chiantigiana” street, the former main road connecting Florence and Siena, which is at 2 km from the villa. The “Firenze Sud” (Florence South) exit of the A1 highway is at only 8 km from the villa.

The rural external structure of the villa with its stone facades is contrasted by an extremely welcoming and accurate interior. The owners of the house used to live in the villa, and they created a warm atmosphere with a personal style. The house has two verandas that are furnished with tables and chairs, and which permit to dine outside.

A large garden of 3000 m2 surrounds the villa. In the garden, there is a swimming pool of 12 x 7 m that has the shape of a bean, as well as a porch for hot summer days. On the property, there is also a private parking place.

The villa extends over two floors. In front of the house, next to the main door, there is a furnished veranda.
At the ground floor, there is a living room with a fire place and a large window that opens on a second furnished veranda (on the side of the house), a second living room (with VCR and stereo system) with two single sofa beds, a dining room with fire place, a kitchen (oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, toaster), and a storage room with washing machine and laundry dryer.
On the first floor, there is a double bedroom with fire place and private bathroom (with hydro-massage tub and hairdryer), two double bedrooms, and a bathroom with shower.
